Approaching Dawn

approaching dawn through that silent river
on the moon
under skin

we are most furious flesh
approaching dawn through dark fruits
boiling
core muscles

furious lips agree and disagree
plunging into the pulp of nature

before morning comes
we feel the first wilderness
and last ignorance

between layers of skin we speak
many mother tongues
boiling core muscles
waters off coast
eyes off light
groping dense fibers
muscles falling higher than this World
